#10 You can be a part of Vallejo history! The Choral Society began in 1917 as the Vallejo Municipal Chorus, and was reorganized in 1932 as the Vallejo Choral Society.
#9 You can be a part of Vallejo Culture and COMMUNITY! The Choral Society won "highest category" from by the City of Vallejo Commission on Culture and the Arts for the Choral Society's musical contribution to Vallejo.

#6 It's challenging! We have a talented, committed dynamo in our director, Lana Poklad, who teaches us how to sing beautiful, intricate new music. Not to mention new twists on old standards!

So please join your community in song! No audition required. New members just meet the director during the first weeks to check their voice range.
Rehearsals are every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:30 pm at Springbrook Masonic Temple in Vallejo. Optional sectional practices are held on Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, open for singers who are able to commit some time to practice outside of Vallejo Choral Society rehearsals. Membership dues are $40 twice per year.
